It Can All Happen

Phew! There is so much going on that most of us do not know how to make it all happen. When you feel overwhelmed do you charge ahead or give up the fight? I’ve done both in my life. I feel much better when I charge ahead, but avoidance and procrastination can feel pretty comfortable in the moment.

So, the rules keep on changing. Confusion, instability, and downright unfair experiences are tainting your transition from high school to college. This could get you down or you can use this as an opportunity.

An opportunity for what, you ask? An opportunity to “put one toe in the water” and slowly experience college? Maybe this is what you needed to be able to concentrate on your class work and get ahead? Maybe this gives you a better opportunity to get to know your roommate and/or suitemates?

This is not the perfect scenario, but it’s time to resist the urge to shut down. It’s time to push forward and not allow the world to drag you down. You are the architect of your life. Change is on the horizon. Make the most of this moment and narrate your life.

C.A.N. is here for you to ensure that you are up to the challenges that lay ahead. If you would like to discuss the transition to college and how C.A.N. can be of assistance, please fill out the contact us page on our website.
